Barnaby Young

Dr Barnaby Young is an infectious diseases physician at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), Singapore where he is also head of the Singapore Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Network (SCRN). He completed his PhD with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore in 2022, studying influenza in the tropics and vaccination strategies to optimize year-round protection. His research work focuses on observational studies of respiratory virus infections and clinical trials of treatments and vaccines including as country PI for the ACTIV-3/TICO platform study.
